Celtic festival features music

DUNDEE--The Dundee Scottish Association will be presenting the midwinter Ceilidh (social gathering), Saturday, Feb. 22 at the American Legion in Dundee.
The Celtic festival will run from 6 to 9 p.m. and include the music of the four-person group Three Stone Fire. The band is from Ithaca and plays songs from Scotland and Ireland with vocals, guitar, flute and fiddle. Additionally, guests who want to bring their instrument and join in the musical offerings are encouraged.
Along with the band will be a DJ, pipers and percussionists and again guests are encouraged to contribute a poem, story, joke, skit or song.
Tickets for the event are available for $10 or $8 for students. This includes a Scottish Buffet and entertainment. Proceeds will benefit the Dundee Scottish Association Community, Youth and Scholarship Program. Tickets will be available at the door and a cash bar and 50/50 raffle will be a part of the event.
