Classic boats are coming to Keuka

HAMMONDSPORT—The Wine Country Classic Boats (WCCB), Inc. will present their 32nd Annual Antique Boat Show and 31st Annual Regatta this weekend. The show will take place at Depot Park in Hammondsport Saturday and Sunday, July 19 and 20. The show runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday. Hammondsport firemen will lead the parade with their fire hose boat July 19 at 3 p.m. and the 31st Annual Regatta will take place Sunday at 10:30 a.m., featuring two heats.
Co-Chair of the WCCB Show Patti Bandy said she estimates approximately 3,500 people to attend the event if weather cooperates. This year will feature GarWood boats, and will also include a  boat builder from Union Springs, John Ford. Ford will offer rides in his 30-foot FordCraft, “After Hours” throughout the weekend. In addition, guide boat builder and designer Steve Kaulback, of Adirondack Guide Boats, Inc. will be displaying his creations and offering rides.
