Dundee beats 'formidable' Red Jacket

DUNDEE—The varsity football team won a “hard fought battle” against Red Jacket, Friday, Sept. 17.
The final score was 40-34. Coach Sheldon Gibson said Red Jacket was a "formidable team," and added the game had five touchdowns in the fourth quarter.
Nick Raplee was 11 for 19 passing, with 184 yards and three touchdowns. Tony Webb had 17 rushes for 155 yards, two touchdowns and 12 tackles. One of those touchdowns resulted in a 99 yard Section V record run.
Joe Tortolon had the game- winning 24 yard touchdown, with 42 seconds left. Kyle Spinks had over 100 yards receiving, and a 32 yard and 40 yard touchdowns.
Lynk Hoffman had eight tackles, two fumble recoveries, one for a touchdown and the game clinching interception. Cody Gilbert also had nine tackles.
