Dundee falls short against Perry/Mt. Morris

DUNDEE-The Dundee varsity football team closed the season with a loss, Saturday, Oct. 29, against Perry/Mt. Morris. The final score was 14-6. The Scots trailed at halftime, but got on the scoreboard in the fourth quarter on a rushing touchdown by Jared Jayne. The ensuing two-point conversion failed.
In the closing minutes of the game, down by eight points, Dundee drove all the way down the field and was in position to score. A Kyle Cratsley pass to Tyler Brace was intercepted in the end zone with 59 seconds left on the clock and sealed the game for Perry. They ran out the clock to end the Connors and Ferris Bowl game.
Dundee ends with a 2-7 record, while Perry/Mt. Morris improved to 3-6.
