MECHANICVILLE—The Dundee varsity football team lost an away game to Mechanicville, 19-6, Saturday, Sept. 22. The first touchdown came from Mechanicville off of a 25 yard pass. Dundee followed up with Aksel Jensen scoring off a two yard run. Mechanicville had two more touchdowns and a one-point conversion to win the game. Dundee rushed 34 carries for 137 yards. Greg Ellison led with 22 carries for 93 yards. Cody Riek added 35 yards over five carries. The Scots passed for 23 yards. Jensen was 3-for-11 passing for the 23 yards. On the offensive side, Rory Long and Vynce Miller each had one unassisted sack. Jon Huber had five unassisted tackles, followed by Ellison, Paul Pollack, and Lance Irwin who each had four. The Scots play Clyde-Savannah next Saturday, Sept. 29. It is also Dundee's homecoming celebration.
