Dundee finishes season 5-2 with shutout win over Lyons

DUNDEE--The Dundee varsity football team ended their regular season with a 70-0 victory over Lyons in a home game Saturday, Oct. 19. Dundee's record is now 5-2.
Dundee ran away with the first half, going up 42-0 by the end of the second quarter. After forcing Lyons to turn the ball over on downs starting the third quarter, Dundee scored on two offensive plays culminating in a Brennan Krall 10-yard touchdown rush. Austin Riek scored the next touchdown after the defense forced and recovered a Lyons fumble. Christopher Cramer would also score a rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter. Dundee's final scoring play of the day came on a 45-yard punt return by Jon Huber, to leave the final score at 70-0 Dundee. Justin Brace was perfect on the day kicking extra points.
Game totals included: Huber with three punt returns, 128 yards and three touchdowns.  Paul Pollack ran 10 times for 81 yards and two touchdowns.  Colin Prior also had two touchdowns on five carries for 115 yards in the game.  Justin Neu was two-for-three with 79 yards and a touchdown. Devin Jensen added an interception for the Scots.
Justin Brace had seven tackles while David Ayers and Ryan Sprague recorded five tackles.
