DUNDEE—The Dundee varsity football team beat Marcus Whitman, 13-7, Saturday, Sept. 8. The visiting Wildcats scored in the first quarter with the one-point conversion. There wasn't another touchdown until the third quarter. Dundee's Greg Ellison scored off of a five yard play. Justin Brace kicked for the successful one point conversion. Ellison scored again in the fourth quarter off of a three yard play, winning the game.
Dundee had 138 rushing yards (over 43 carries) and 62 passing yards. Ellison had 17 carries for 81 yards, while Colin Prior had 21 carries for a total of 58 yards. Aksel Jensen added eight yards over four carries. Jensen threw three passes for 62 yards, while Brace caught two for 48 yards. On the defensive side, Ellison had seven unassisted tackles and six assisted sacks. Brace also had two sacks and five tackles, all unassisted. Prior had six tackles on his own.
