Dundee holds ribbon cutting, starts homecoming activities

DUNDEE–On Friday, Sept. 28, Dundee Central School held their ribbon cutting ceremony for the renovated Scotsmen Field, started sports games for homecoming, and held a bonfire celebrating school spirit.
During the ribbon cutting ceremony, Superintendent Kathy Ring welcomed guests to the football field and Board of Education President Jim Koehler and BOE Vice-President John Frederick cut the ribbon. Athletic Director Jennifer Hutches then read a history of the field, followed by John Kissell performing the Alma Mater. Those that gathered were then encouraged to go to the bonfire behind the school which had a large crowd and featured music.
