Dundee plans homecoming this weekend

DUNDEE--The annual homecoming celebration of events will occur at Dundee Central School this Friday and Saturday. There are a number of special events and home sports games at the school.
The girls varsity soccer team will face Romulus on Scotsmen Field, Friday, Sept. 20 at 4:30 p.m. A special pregame celebration will include many of the youth soccer players.
Also on Friday, the junior varsity and varsity volleyball teams will face off against South Seneca. The JV game is at 4:30 p.m., while the varsity game is at 6 p.m. in the gym.
In the evening there is a Back to School Bash planned, and a glow light parade scheduled for 7:30 p.m. The traditional bonfire behind the school will take place afterword.
Saturday's events include a chicken barbecue that runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the varsity football game at 1 p.m. The Dundee Scotsmen take on C. G. Finney/Northstar in their first eight-man football game. The homecoming king and queen will be named at the conclusion of the game.
