DUNDEE--The Dundee Musical Theater Club will be presenting "Footloose" this weekend at the Dundee Central School auditorium. There will be three showings of the performance, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 1 to 3, all at 7 p.m.

The musical Footloose is based on the 1984 film that featured Kevin Bacon and Lori Singer. Dundee's production features the popular songs from the award-winning score.
The plot of the musical revolves around a small midwest town where dancing is forbidden. Ren, an outsider who is trying to adjust to the new location, is surprised by the strict rules imposed by the Reverend. The struggle continues when Ariel, the Reverend's daughter, falls for Ren as he struggles to fit in with the community and classmates. Ren and his new friends work to convince the Reverend they should be allowed to hold a senior prom.
