Finger Lakes Beer Festival set for Oct. 25

WATKINS GLEN--Formerly known as Glentoberfest, the Finger Lakes Beer Festival will be held Saturday, Oct. 25. The event runs fromnoon to 5 p.m. and is presented by the Finger Lakes Beer Trail at Watkins Glen International. This is the second year of the event.
"Our focus for all events starts right here in New York and our beautiful upstate region," said Michael Printup, president of Watkins Glen International. "[...] We are thrilled to be able to offer more New York State brewed beer as the popularity continues to increase in our region."
This festival will feature five hours of sampling more than 50 brews from 25 New York State craft breweries, which is an increased selection from last year's event. Finger Lakes area breweries will represent more than two-thirds of the breweries featured at the event. In addition to craft beer, the event will feature live music by Fritz's Polka Band, food and pace car rides. Onsite camping is also available.
Adult admission is $40 and includes a commemorative sampling glass and 25 tasting coupons. Patrons must be 21 years or older to attend.
