Flash flood warning in effect until Saturday

TRI-COUNTY AREA—After many days of heat, the National Weather Service announced a flash flood warning for Northern Pennsylvania into the Finger Lakes.
According to the NWS, the flash flood warning is from Friday, at 2 p.m., until Saturday morning.  The warning includes Yates, Steuben, and Schuyler Counties.
The NWS said thunderstorms are expected this afternoon, and some areas will receive heavy rainfall because the storms will be slow moving.  NWS also stated that most areas are expected to get one to two inches of rain, but some areas may get four to six inches.
