DUNDEE—By 10 a.m., more than 650 people had visited the annual Labor Day Fly-In breakfast at Re-Dun Airport on Rt. 14A south of Dundee. As the crowds feasted on fare that included pancakes made on Clarence Sebring’s automatic “Awe-Ja-Magic” pancake machine, they enjoyed the music of Walt Hoffman’s Band. People arrived at the airport via private aircraft, car or truck and one large group came to the event in a convoy of all-terrain vehicles. As the early morning sunshine faded, many of the aircraft on the field took off for the return flight home. The next fly-in breakfast at the airport will be on Memorial Day, 2011.
