Freedom Village ordered to make final payments

ROCHESTER—U.S. bankruptcy Judge John Ninfo, for the Western District of New York, ordered on Dec. 22 that the Lakemont Freedom Village Ministry must complete final payments to their unsecured creditors by June 29, 2012.
The bankruptcy court also stated that Freedom Village must pay their fees to the U.S. Trustee, which helps manage bankruptcy plans.  Freedom Village is headed by Pastor Fletcher Brothers.
If payments are not made by the June 29 deadline, the bankruptcy case will be dismissed which could open Freedom Village to original judgments that were assigned prior to the bankruptcy filing.  Locally, Freedom Village has ended their operations at the Dundee Family Fun Center and the Happy Days Cafe in Watkins Glen.
Pastor Brothers did not return a telephone call by press time.
