Hammondsport school board 09/16/09 Meeting: The Hammondsport Central School Board of Education met Sept. 16 for two hours and five minutes, plus a 45 minute executive session. Attendance: Nancy Torp was the only board member absent. There were four members of the public in the audience. Action: Approved creating two teacher aide positions. Discussion without action: Administrators reported that the school has 275 elementary students and 262 secondary students; 79 students are classified with disabilities. Appointments/resignations: The board approved the following appointments; Crista Crandall, long-tern substitute, $41,171/year; Gloria Woods, Tracy Wood; on-call substitute teachers, $80/day; Robert Perry, part-time cafeteria worker, $12.02/hour; Sandra Heil, part-time cafeteria aide, $12.69/hour; Kevin Hamilton, part-time cleaner, $11.22/hour; Victoria Kearns, on-call aide, $60/day; Keira Richmond, speech and language therapist, $80/day; Diana Satterfield, Joy Manchester-Pierce, Kim Jensen, full-time teachers serving as mentors. • The board approved the resignations of Diana Roberts and Cynthia Tollerup.
