Hammondsport takes win over Dundee, 5-4

DUNDEE—The Hammondsport boys varsity soccer team defeated Dundee, Friday, Oct. 22, on the Scots’ home field.
The final score was 5-4.  By halftime the score was tied at 2-2.
For Dundee, Garrick Conyers and Devon Miller scored first.  Kevin Moessmer and Jordan Schuck scored for Hammondsport in the first half.  Ricky Rosenkrans assisted once.
In the second half, James Obrochta scored twice and Moessmer once for Hammondsport.  Rosenkrans, Moessmer, and Schuck each assisted once.  For Dundee, Owen Maloy and Miller scored in the second half.  Conyers assisted in the Scots’ last goal.
Dundee attempted 19 shots on the Lakers’ goal, had five corner kicks, and nine saves.  Hammondsport attempted 26 shots, had six corner kicks, and 14 saves.
The Lakers are now 6-10 overall, with this non-league game.  The Scots are 2-12.
Dundee also honored the seniors during halftime.
