Hammondsport tops Prattsburg, 12-3

HAMMONDSPORT—Hammondsport's varsity baseball team beat Prattsburg in a home game, Wednesday, April 17. The final score was 12-3.
Coach Dan Conley said after three walks to start the game, pitcher Ryan Eckel settled in to scatter five hits over the last four innings. He had 21 strikeouts; one reached base on a dropped third strike. Eckel went 3-for-3 at the plate, driving in two runs, stealing a base, and scoring twice.
Gavin Cornish was 2-for-4, with a double, two runs, and three steals. Jordan Schuck was 2-for-4, with two RBIs, a steal, and a run, while Dalton Mori went 2-for-4 and scored twice.
