WAVERLY–The Odessa-Montour boys swim team traveled to the IAC championship swimming meet on Saturday, Feb. 11 and finished sixth with 43 points. Sophomore Chris Husted took first place in the 50 free with a personal best time of 23.17, upsetting a first place Waverly seed. Chris also took third in the 100 free with a 51.92. Coach Terri Brace said “It's so great to see the boys continue to drop time. Chris and I have had a goal of an IAC Championship for him since the beginning of the season, and it was so exciting to see that come to fruition today. I couldn't be more proud of him.” Personal best times were also posted by Senior Matt Chapman in the 200 free (2:27.06) and the 100 back (1:21.46) and Joe Raymond in the 100 back (1:26.59). Lansing won overall with 481 points, followed by Waverly with 400 and Watkins Glen with 291.
