Indians beat Newfield in track and field meet

ODESSA-The Odessa-Montour boys varsity track and field team beat Newfield, 82-25, while the Odessa girls triumphed, 70-34, Wednesday, April 8. Watkins Glen also competed, but as a scrimmage.
For the Indians' boys, Andy Fudala finished first in the 110 hurdles (17.5), first in the 400 hurdles (1:08.8), first in the high jump (5'), and first in the pole vault (7', a tie). Chad Sykes took first in the 100 meter dash (11.9). Luke Eberhardt was first in the 1600 (5:35.2) and first in the pole vault (7', a tie).
Charles Sidle finished second in the triple jump (35'2") and second in the long jump (18'3"). Bryce Elliott finished first in the discus (119'2") while Zach Elliott was first in shot put (36'5"). Ryan Marsh took second in the 400 meter run (62.2). James Randolph was second in the 400 hurdles (1:10.7).
Dana Roberts was first in the 100 hurdles (17.7), first in the 400 meter run (1:11.4), and first in the long jump (13'10"). Nadia Simpson took first in the 100 meter dash (13.8) and first in the 200 meter dash (30.0). Britney Visscher won first in the pole vault (6').
Amy Fudala was second in the high jump (4'4"), while April Dunn finished first in the 800 meter run (3:00.4). Callie Stillman won first in the discus (57'11").
While Watkins Glen attended the meet, their results were only counted as a scrimmage. Maggie Bond finished first in the 1500 meter run (5:31.1) and Jacob Carocci won first in the 800 meter run (2:21.4). Watkins also took first in the 4x800 girls relay team, 4x800 boys relay team, 4x100 girls relay team, and the 4x100 boys relay team.
