Indians beat Senecas, 2-1

ODESSA-The Odessa-Montour boys varsity soccer team topped Schuyler County rival Watkins Glen, 2-1, Wednesday, Sept. 24.
The Indians took the lead in the first half scoring both of their goals. The first was by Ryan Marsh, put into the goal by a deflection. The second goal was a long shot by Joel Kelly within three minutes of half time. Odessa also managed 11 corner kicks throughout the game. In the second half, Jonas Recker scored for Watkins.
Odessa Coach Dirk Stephens said "in the second half we had plenty of opportunities. They played pretty strong both ways." He added "I know they (Watkins) have a pretty strong group of kids."
