ODESSA—The Odessa-Montour varsity football team lost to Moravia, 28-0, in a home game, Friday, Oct. 15. It rained without stopping throughout the entire game, making the muddy field even worse. Odessa was unable to score. Just before the game ended, the Indians tried to get on the board one more time. Odessa was within 10 yards of the goal line. However, the attempted touchdown pass was knocked out of the air by Moravia as the game-ending buzzer sounded. Odessa had a total of 95 yards, all rushing. Joe Markley led the Indians offensively with 37 yards over 11 carries. James Williams followed with 36 yards over 11 carries. Alex Chapman had 14 carries on 14 carries. Kyle Bailer had eight carries and eight yards. Neither team had any turnovers or interceptions. Odessa also had seven first downs.
