Indians top Newark Valley, 50-37

ODESSA-The Odessa-Montour girls varsity basketball team triumphed over Newark Valley, 50-37, Friday, Dec. 12.
The Indians led 38-15 at halftime. Nakiaha Robinson scored 18 points, with eight steals. Hailie Searles added 15 points and six rebounds. Gillian Clark and Addi Rhodes each had six points. Callie Stillman scored three points, while Olivia Grover had two points and four blocks.
Odessa's record is now 3-0.
"We came out of the blocks fantastic and used our pressure to create a lot of offense for us," said Coach Greg Gavich. "Was nice to play very well in our home opener."
