Injuries cause another Odessa loss
ODESSA—A series of player injuries forced a loss for Odessa-Montour's varsity football team, Friday, Sept. 28. The Indians fell to Notre Dame, 30-0. Coach Bob Lee said the team "moved the ball alright until we started getting injured." He added the quarterback re-injured his thumb, a lineman had to be pulled from play, and a wingback's head slammed "right into the dirt." "At one point I had a freshman in there because I didn't have anyone else," said Lee. Jeremy Zoeke led Odessa on the ground, rushing 26 yards.
