It's time for those classic cars

YATES COUNTY—Car lovers will be able to check out plenty of cars thanks to Penn Yan’s Cruisin’ Night and the Dundee Show ‘n Go.
Up first is Cruisin’ Night, Friday, June 18, on Main Street in Penn Yan, between Chapel and Lake Streets. It starts at 4 p.m., and will feature over 200 classic and antique cars. The main event of Cruisin’ Night will be the parade, which starts at 8:30 p.m.
On-site registration of cars will start at 5 p.m., near the post office. Up until the parade, there will be music, food, and extended hours for the businesses.
For more, call the Yates County Chamber of Commerce at 315-536-3111.
The 10th annual Dundee Show ‘n Go will be Wednesday, June 23, at the new sponsor location, Martini’s ShurFine. The event will run from 6 to 9 p.m.
The Show ‘n Go will feature a wide variety of cars, motorcycles, hot rods, race cars, trucks and event tractors. Free t-shirts will be given to the first 50 entrants, and free dash plaques to the first 125 cars.
There is no registration fee, but donations are welcome. Preregistration for the show is encouraged, by contacting Terrie Sautter at dundeecarshow@yahoo.com, or 607-243-7845 in the evenings. Include the car year, make, model, owner’s name and town.
