PENN YAN—The Penn Yan girls varsity basketball team lost to Waterloo, Monday, Feb. 11.
The final score was 56-33. Demi Battin led the Lady Mustangs with 13 points. Ashley Walker scored eight points, followed by Megan Lafferty with seven. Kendall Neuberger and Liz Wunder each had two.
The Mustangs' record is now 5-13 at the end of the regular season. Penn Yan is seeded number nine in Section V Class B1 and as of Monday's game is scheduled to face number eight seed Aquinas Tuesday, Feb. 19.
