Lake Country Players present 'Twelve Angry Jurors'

WATKINS GLEN—The Lake Country Players will perform “Twelve Angry Jurors” April 16 and 17.
The play was written in 1957 by Reginald Rose. In the play, a 19-year-old man has just stood trial for the fatal stabbing of his father. It looks like an open-and-shut case, until one of the jurors begins opening the others’ eyes to the facts.
The trial becomes personal, and with each juror revealing his or her own character as the various testimonies are reexamined, the murder is reenacted and a new murder threat is born before their eyes.
The cast includes foreman, Jason Finch; the jury: Jackie Eakin, Michelle Banach, Meg Cabezas, Tesha Carrigan, Gene Holleran, Cindy Scott, Mike Truesdail, Howard Cabezas, Chuck Luppe, Felisha Noble, Erica Fiori; and guard, Tim Benjamin.
The play will be held at the Watkins Glen elementary school auditorium. The times are 7:30 p.m., Friday, April 16, and 2:30 and 7:30 p.m., Saturday, April 17. Ticket prices are $8 for adults, $6 for senior, and $4 for students.
