Lakers advance in sectional play

WAYLAND–The Hammondsport girls varsity volleyball team faced Lyndonville in the Section V class D semifinal game on Thursday, Nov. 1. The Lakers started the game strong by scoring 20 straight points with Alyson Binnert serving and continued that dominance to a final score of 3-0. #1 Hammondsport will now play #2 Prattsburgh at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3 in Avoca.
