Learn, Morrow will step down

ODESSA-MONTOUR—Both Andy Morrow, Odessa-Montour High School principal, and Alice Learn, board of education president, will be leaving the school district by July.
Superintendent Jim Frame said Learn had intended to resign for a while now, but it will be official effective June 30. He said because she is also the assistant superintendent for the Horseheads School District, Learn has felt she cannot dedicate enough time at O-M.  The new board president will be voted on at the regular board elections in July.
Morrow is resigning so he can accept a middle school principal job in Hartford, Conn. Frame said the board will appoint B.C. Cate Principal, Greg Conlon, to fill Morrow’s position.  Frame added the school will look for someone to take Conlon’s position immediately.
