BARRINGTON--If you've always wanted 800 feet of Keuka Lake shoreline, Sotheby's International Realty may have your dream property.
Last week, Sotheby's listed 5.64 acres of the former Viking Motel property at 690 East Lake Road, for sale at $3,300,000.
Kenneth R. Christensen, Sr. started the Viking Resort back in 1961. The location offered 52 guest rooms along with rowboat use, nightly bon fires, fishing and docking facilities. Christenson passed away in October, 2014.
Stacie Whitbeck, Sotheby's listing agent, said the property's assessment is $1,650,000 with annual taxes of $36,743.
Whitbeck says their marketing efforts will target individual buyers first for the property. She said their firm may also contact boutique hospitality firms that may want to create a new Keuka Lake location.
