Milo town board 1/18/11

Meeting: The Milo town board met for approximately 25 minutes on Tuesday, Jan. 18, followed by an executive session to discuss personnel matters lasting 45 minutes.
Attendance: All town board members were present. Two members of the public were in the audience.
Action: Scheduled a public hearing on a proposed six month moratorium on adult entertainment businesses at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 22.
• Gave Supervisor John Socha permission to sign the webmaster contract for the town Web page.
Discussion without action: Councilman Dale Hallings announced the Agriculture Committee will hold their annual meeting in March. The date has not been set.
Appointments/resignations: Appointed Terry Hansen to a  term on the Zoning Board of Appeals ending in December 2017.
• Appointed Dan King deputy Fire Inspector and Code Enforcement Officer.
Upcoming meetings: Tuesday, Feb. 22, at 7 p.m. in the town hall on Main Street in Penn Yan.
