Mustangs beat Bishop Kearney, 22-1

PENN YAN—The Penn Yan boys varsity lacrosse team started out this year's sectional games with a win against Bishop Kearney, Wednesday, May 26.
The final score was 22-1.  Kearney's lone goal was in the second quarter.  Penn Yan did most of its scoring in the first quarter, with 14 goals.
Preston Maciejewski had four goals and four assists.  The rest of the scoring came from Dylan Yonts (three goals), Bradley Voigt (two goals, two assists), JJ Voigt (two goals), Connor Cincotta (two goals), Adam Stork (two goals), Jamil Modafarri (two goals, one assist), Nate Nichols (two goals), Brett McMichael (one goal, one assist), Chris McMillan (one goal, two assists), Scott Miller (one goal), Anthony Luppino (one goal), and Tim Yetter (one goal).  Ryan Maciejewski also had one assist.
In the goal, Brandon Maciejewski and Matt Spoor each had one save.
Coach Brian Hobart called it "a nice way to start sectionals."
