Mustangs fall to Bath, 4-0

PENN YAN—The Penn Yan varsity softball team fell to Bath, Thursday, May 20, making it the team's second loss of the season.
The final score was 4-0.  Coach Marty Kubli said with one more game left in the regular season, the Mustangs are now 17-2 with this loss.
Penn Yan had two hits, from Christine Mosich and Morgan Simmons.  Kubli also said the Mustangs had two errors.
He explained that the last regular game of the season will be against Palmyra-Macedon, Friday, May 21.  The softball team's first Section V game will be Thursday, May 28, at home.  Penn Yan will either play Pal-Mac again, or Attica, based the two teams' May 26 sectional game.
