Mustangs fall to Canandaigua, 9-6

PENN YAN—The Penn Yan boys varsity lacrosse team lost to Canandaigua in a home game, Friday, April 23.
The final score was 9-6.  Coach Brian Hobart said the Mustangs had the lead at halftime, 5-4.  However, Canandaigua took the lead in the second half of the game.
Adam Trombley had two goals for Penn Yan.  Jordan Owen was next with one goal and one assist.  Bradley Voigt, Adam Stork, and Preston Maciejewski each had one goal.  Nate Nichols also offered one assist for the team.  Cody Richardson managed 12 saves in Penn Yan's goal.
The lacrosse team plays next against McQuaid, April 27.
