Mustangs lose to Geneva, 47-45

PENN YAN—The Penn Yan boys varsity basketball team lost a close game against Geneva, Tuesday, Jan. 11.
The final score was 47-45.  Penn Yan fought to overtake the visiting team throughout the game, but Geneva consistently held the lead.
Dylan Yonts scored the most for Penn Yan with 11 points, including three shots from beyond the three-point line.  James Burdette and Adam Stork each had eight points, followed by Michael Johnson with seven points.
Dylan Force contributed six points.  Cody Richardson and Myles Volz finished up the scoring for Penn Yan with three and two points respectively.
Penn Yan was 14-for-22 at the free throw line, compared to Geneva's 21-for-35.
