Mustangs win opening sectional game

PENN YAN-The Penn Yan varsity volleyball team topped Sodus in the pre-quarterfinal sectional round, Wednesday, Oct. 28. The final scores were 25-5, 25-4, 25-16.
Kelly Bray recorded 16 assists, while Jessie Decker added six kills, two aces, and one block. Sydney Bloom earned five kills and three aces.
Emily Wunder contributed five kills. Jessica Covell had three service aces in a total of 25 serves. Devin Stahlman added two aces and two kills.
The Mustangs' record is now 16-2 overall and the team will play Attica this Saturday, Oct. 31.
