Mustangs win Sectional opener, 3-1


PENN YAN—The Penn Yan boys varsity soccer team topped LeRoy, 3-1, in the Wednesday, Oct. 23, Section V Class B tournament game.


Dan Gleason, Geoffrey Rouin, and Dan Ledgerwood each scored once and also assisted once. Penn Yan was seeded number six, while LeRoy was 11.


The Mustangs compete next in the Sectional quarterfinals, Saturday, Oct. 26.
