Odessa baseball falls to Watkins, 16-3

ODESSA—The Watkins Glen baseball team beat Odessa-Montour, Monday, April 2.
The final score was 16-3. Odessa scored two runs early in the game during the first inning. Both Watkins and Odessa added a run each in the third. The Senecas then took the lead by scoring four runs in the fifth inning and 11 in the sixth.
For Watkins, Ryan Campbell had a double, a triple, and five RBIs. Brady Bond and Brendan Hunter also added runs to the total. Bond and Hunter served as pitchers for Watkins.
Ryan Gardner pitched the first four innings for Odessa. Brad Hornbrook manned the fifth inning, while Tanner Dupuy took the last two. The Indians allowed five hits and had five errors.
"Watkins took advantage of late pitching inaccuracy and errors to overcome O-M," said Odessa Coach Russ Gardner.
