Odessa basketball teams fall to Notre Dame

ODESSA—The Odessa-Montour boys and girls varsity basketball players both fell to Notre Dame, Tuesday, Jan. 12.
The boys lost in a home game, 57-31, and the girls lost in an away game, 46-40.  The boys team started out the game close, only two points behind Notre Dame by the end of the first quarter.  However, as the game progressed, the point gap grew.  Notre Dame managed a number of steals each quarter.
Dan Stephens was the Indians' highest scorer of the game, with 11 points.  Phil Smith, Derrick Harrington, and Luke Brown, all had six points each.  The Indians were 4-2 for free throw shots during the game.  Odessa's record is now 2-8.
The boys basketball plays next against Tioga, Jan. 15.  The girls play Tioga in an away game the same night.
