Odessa hosts Legends meet

ODESSA-The Odessa-Montour track and field teams hosted the Legends of the Night meet, Friday May 1.
The Watkins boys finished eighth and the girls ninth. Odessa's boys were tied for 11th, while the girls took 16th overall.
Watkins' Patrick Hazlitt was first in the 1600 meter run (4:38.43). Jacob Carocci placed fourth in the 800 meter run (2:06.82). Ryan Pruitt took fourth in long jump (17'11.50") and fifth in the 100 meter dash (12.50). Shawn Rutledge finished fifth in the 3200 meter run (10:32.38).
Maggie Bond was third for Watkins in the girls 1500 meter run (5:13.46). De'naja Blanchard finished third in the 100 meter hurdles (17.83). Isobel Scheffey was fourth in the 200 meter dash (28.74), while Taylor Kennard finished fifth in the 3000 meter run (11:46.27).
For Odessa, Bryce Elliott placed first in the discus (134'1") and third in the shot put at (42'4.5"). James Randolph was fifth in the 110 meter hurdles (18.75).
Zach Elliott was seventh in the shot put (37'0"). Luke Eberhardt took seventh in the 1600 meter run (4:56.36).
The girls 400 meter relay team finished sixth (Hannah Bruno, Kennedey Heichel, Nadia Simpson and Meagan Terry) in 56.47. Bruno was also eighth in the 400 meter run (1:06.58).
