Odessa-Montour girls win, 39-35

ODESSA-The Odessa-Montour girls varsity basketball team defeated Spencer-Van Etten, Wednesday, Jan. 20. The final score was 39-35.
With 2:39 to play, Kennedey Heichel secured a three-pointer to make the score 37-31. Spencer closed the gap to 37-35, but with 5.9 seconds left in the game, Olivia Grover hit two free throws to seal the game for the Indians.
Grover led with 22 points, 12 rebounds, and six steals. Heichel and Gillian Clark both had six points, while Clark also added eight rebounds. Alexis Saunders scored five points.
