ODESSA—Odessa-Montour's varsity wrestling team won second in the O-M Duals against five other schools, Saturday, Jan. 5. Odessa beat Groton, 54-24; Corning, 58-18; Dryden, 51-18; and Thomas A. Edison, 72-6. The Indians lost to Whitney Point, 42-36. Whitney Point took first place. Odessa-Montour also had six wrestlers named as the most outstanding in their weight class: Joe Rorick (106), Bill Bacon (126), Adam Gifford (132), Michael Fraboni (138), Jeremy Zoeke (160), and Ashton Furney (170). In the match against Whitney Point, Bacon (126) pinned Corey Hodge in :43. Gifford (132) beat Nathaniel Grabbam by decision, 4-2. Fraboni (138) pinned Sheldon Clute in 1:00. Adrian Tejedor (145) beat Nate Kim, 10–9. Rorick (106), Zoeke (160), and Furney (170) won by forfeit.
