Orr dies after motorcycle crash

GORHAM--A motorcycle crash on County Road 18 in Gorham has left Clifford Orr of Penn Yan dead after being airlifted from the accident scene.
Deputies responded on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 15 for the motorcycle accident. The investigation found the motorcycle was eastbound on County Road 18, west of Robson Road, when Orr stopped to avoid another motorcyclist. There was reportedly debris on the road that caused the group of motorcyclists to brake suddenly.
Orr was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital where he was in critical condition over the weekend.
