Park offers new marketing opportunities

WATKINS GLEN--As new construction work is completed at the state park in Watkins Glen, there will be additional marketing opportunities for area businesses at the new visitor center.
The Watkins Glen Area Chamber of Commerce will be joining with New York State Parks to operate a satellite office beginning in May at the state park. The chamber will still have the official Schuyler County visitor center at 214 N. Franklin St. and the offices will remain at that location.
There are three advertising opportunities for businesses to reach park visitors, which numbered over 900,000 in 2016. The options include advertising in the chamber welcome brochure, distributing your own brochure for visitors or running a television commercial at the center.
