Penn Yan company will expand in Yates

PENN YAN--Finger Lakes Premier Properties is expanding in Penn Yan.
Brian Zerges, president and chief executive officer of the company, announced last week his firm will construct a new 20,000 square-foot building in the Penn Yan Horizon Industrial Park to serve as an operations base for his expanding vacation home rental business.
Zerges' company includes Finger Lakes Premier Properties and the Best Western hotel in Penn Yan. Finger Lakes Premier Properties offers lakefront homes for rent and sale in the Finger Lakes. Their homes are located on Canandaigua, Conesus, Honeoye, Keuka, Seneca and Cayuga lakes.
Zerges said he expects construction for the new Penn Yan building to start in September and would like to finish most of the construction by the end of this year or early 2018.
He said, "We will utilize our new building to support our vacation-home rental business with commercial washers and dryers for laundry. We will also use the new facility for human resources with company training with our rental properties.
Zerges added, "We have a number of building permits and approvals to take care of in the coming weeks, but we look forward to serving our customers even better with our new facility."
Currently, Finger Lakes Premier Properties has offices at 142 Lake Street in Penn Yan and their Lakeshore Drive office in Canandaigua.
