Penn Yan dominates home opener

PENN YAN--The Penn Yan varsity lacrosse team beat Geneva 14-0, Thursday, April 7. The Mustangs carried a seven point lead into halftime, and added five goals in the third and two in the fourth quarter to shutout Geneva.
Sean Emerson had four goals and one assist. Craig Gerhardt recorded three goals and five assists, while Tate Stewart also had three goals and added two assists. Conner Fingar contributed two goals and Austin Fingar and Ben Emerson each had one. Austin Fingar also helped with three assists.
Gage Ponsetti made eight saves for Penn Yan.
