RUSHVILLE—Penn Yan and Dundee's varsity track teams competed in the Wayne-Finger Lakes meet at Marcus Whitman, Monday, May 14. Both the boys and girls Penn Yan track teams finished second overall. Chris Weeden led the boys. He won first in the 400 meter dash (53.04), first in the 800 meter run (2:15.64), second in the 100 meter dash (11.64), and second in the 200 meter dash (23.84). Paul Larzelere was second in the 400 meter hurdles (1:03.94) and second in the 110 meter hurdles (19:04). Peter Tomlinson took second in the 3200 meter run (12:07.54), while Taylor Miller was second in the pole vault. For the girls, Evelynn Pinneo won first in the 3000 meter run (11:35.74) and second in the 1500 meter run (5:19.04). Stephanie Owens was second in the long jump and third in the 400 meter dash (1:07.74). Heather Anderson finished first in the high jump and second in the 200 meter dash (27.34). The Dundee boys finished third, while the girls team was fourth overall. John Kissell won first in the discus throw, followed by Greg Ellison in second place. Kissell and Ellison also took the top two spots respectively in the shot put. Michael Koehler finished second in the 400 meter dash (54.74) and third in the 200 meter dash (24.24). Andrew Davis was third in the 1600 meter run (4:59.44), Kenneth Eldridge claimed third in the high jump, and Jon Huber took third in the 100 meter dash (11.94). For the girls, Anna Gilbert won first in the 1500 meter run (2:28.04). Nolleen Whetham was first in the 100 meter dash (13.84), followed by Allison Pollack in second (14.04). Whet- ham was also third in the 200 meter dash (28.74). Casie Farrell was second in the discus. Courtney Ahrens took third in the 100 meter hurdles (20.44), while Kim Wagner was third in the shot put.
