Penn Yan earns a tough win

PENN YAN-The Penn Yan Mustangs played Pal-Mac on Saturday, April 2 and won by one point.  The final score was 10 to 9.  During the close game, the teams seemed to go point to point with each other, finishing the first half 6 to 7 and going into the final quarter 9 to 9.  In the final minutes however, Penn Yan was able to prevent Pal-Mac from scoring to lock in their win.  This was the boys lacrosse first official game of the season making their record 1-0.

Ryan Maciejewski led the Mustangs with three goals and two assists.  Anthony Luppino was next with two goals and one assist.
Bradley Voigt, Rion Davison, James Voigt, Dylan Yonts, and Jeremy Bunn all contributed one goal each.  Bradley Voight also had two assists.  In the goal, Brandon Mace had three saves and Matt Spoor had one.

Their next game is against McQuaid, away, on April 5 at 7 p.m.
