Penn Yan edges Canandaigua in overtime

PENN YAN – The Penn Yan boys varsity lacrosse team beat Canandaigua in overtime, 11-10, Friday, April 18. At halftime the score was 5-5. The Mustangs then jumped to a 9-7 lead to end the third, only to have Canandaigua score three in the fourth to tie it at 10-10. The Mustangs added one goal in overtime to close out the game.
Bradley Voigt had three goals and one assist. Sean Emerson also recorded three goals. Austin Fingar had two goals and one assist. Rion Davison, Sam Dirisio and Ben Covert all added one goal each.
Goalie Brandon Maciejewski made nine saves.
