PENN YAN—The Penn Yan boys varsity basketball team fell to Livonia, 53-51, in a sectional matchup, Saturday, Feb. 23.
Leading the Mustangs was Eric Johnson with 17 points, which included four three-point shots. Shane Bloom scored 12 points, followed by James Burdette with eight. Ben Covert had six points. Corey Grace added four points, while Jeff Schiek and Bradley Voigt each had two. Penn Yan was 5-for-8 at the free-throw line. With the loss, Penn Yan's record is 9-10.
