Penn Yan ends with a win

PENN YAN--The Penn Yan Mustangs ended their season on a winning note by beating Tri-Town (South Seneca/Romulus/Trumansburg), Thursday, Oct. 27. The final score was 40-30, Penn Yan. This was the final game in the Connors and Ferris Bowl Class B bracket.
Penn Yan touchdowns were recorded by Dylan Stape (three), Will Rogers, Desmond Battin and Conner Fingar.
Rogers completed six of 14 passes for 91 yards and three touchdowns. Stape led the rushing attack with 23 carries for 163 yards and two touchdowns. He also had three pass receptions for 54 yards and a touchdown. Battin had five receptions for 73 yards with a touchdown.
On defense, Cadin Lloyd forced a fumble, Jack Peterson had four tackles and a fumble recovery. Rogers and Stape both had interceptions for the Mustangs.
The Mustangs end the season at 4-5.
